Perth Airport Terminals

Perth Airport is the primary airport of Western Australia state, located in its capital Perth and serving the city and its surrounding municipalities.

Domestic Terminals are located 12 km away from Perth’s city centre and the International Terminal is at 17 km distance.

Perth Airport serves either domestic and international flights, registering annually a passenger flow of 13 million passengers.

It is integrated by four passenger terminals.

Transfer between terminals

Terminals are located in the following way: T1 and T2 on the east and T3 and T4 to the west. They are 15-minute drive from each other (11 km). To solve this problem regarding distance, there is a free Inter-terminal transfer shuttle bus every 20 minutes and it sets from every terminal lower level. Opening hours: From 6:00 am to midnight.

Terminal 1

It is the single International Terminal, also hosts domestic flights operates by Virgin Australia. Has 4 different levels and is split by the northern flank (international) and the western (domestic) flank.

It is the only terminal which is opened 24 hours. More information

Terminal 2

It is the newest Domestic Terminal. Hosts exclusively domestic flights of the following airlines: Alliance Airlines, Tigreair, Virgin Australia and Regional Express.

Opening hours: From 4:00 am to 12:30 am (Monday to Thursday and Saturday) and from 4:00 am to 2:30 am (Friday and Sunday).

Terminal 3

It is the Multi-user Domestic Terminal. It is the main terminal for Jetstar, while Qantas offers some of its domestic and regional flights.

Opening hours: From 4:00 am to 12:30 am (Monday to Thursday and Saturday) and from 4:00 am to 2:30 am (Friday and Sunday).

Terminal 4

Terminal 4 is Qantas and QantasLink Domestic Terminal, which hosts regional flights. It is an independent terminal managed by Qantas.

Opening hours: From 4:00 am to 12:30 am (Monday to Thursday and Saturday) and from 4:00 am to 2:30 am (Friday and Sunday).

Present and future

It is planned to demolish Terminal 4 and replace it by the new domestic facilities at Terminal 1. This work is part of the 2024 Airport Master Plan, which seeks to consolidate either international and domestic terminals into a single one. This new terminal would be located on the south-eastern side of the airfield.

Attractions

Outdoor Viewing Platform
Outside Perth Airport there is the viewing platform. It is the ideal sightseeing to watch aircraft arrivals and departures at Perth Airport. There you can find several attractions such as a shelter in the shape of a Boeing 747 and a section paved which reminds a runway. Opening hours: From 6:30 am to 7:00 pm (October to March) and from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm (April to September). Get there from either west and east sides of the airport.
